Memorandum of understanding between Maritime Research Centre, Indian Maritime Foundation, Pune and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere.
This MoU is signed for fulfilling the following objectives :
1. To promote the broad R&D framework for Underwater Domain Awareness (UDA) in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR).
2. To provide internship opportunities to students both at MRC and associated industries engaged in the field of UDA for the stakeholders.
3. To ensure joint research publications under the programme involving faculty members and students.
4. MRC and DBATU will work towards design of new programmes and courses relevant to the broader UDA framework that makes the participants employable for the stakeholders. These programmes could be degree, diploma or certificate courses of appropriate durations. These programmes will be designed in collaboration with industry partners and could be hosted by any of the affiliated institutes of DBATU.
