Establish a self-sustaining platform to train the next generation of innovators, equipping them with holistic knowledge across disciplines to execute their innovative ideas.

  1. University have Research Laboratories and Academic Laboratories, from which 1000s of mini to major projects have been executed so far. The expertise gained from these existing facilities will be utilized for the IDEA Labs in idealization, Planning, Designing, Programming, Prototyping, Implementing and Promotion.
  2. The IDEA Lab is a unique facility that provides extensive opportunities for young talents within and around the Institute to experiment with their ideas.
  3. Products developed in the IDEA Lab will serve as primary or feeder units for our existing facilities.
  4. The expertise gained from numerous projects in our existing facilities will be applied in the IDEA Lab to reduce the likelihood of failures.
  5. The experimental data from research papers communicated and published by our highly qualified researchers will be generated through the IDEA Lab.

We will align with national initiatives such as Make in India, Swachh Bharat, and Vision 2035. Our goal is to utilize equipment and machinery made in India to support the vision of Atmnirbhar Bharat. The lab’s primary mission is to evolve into an organization that provides opportunities for students and the wider community to enhance their innovative capabilities and foster entrepreneurship, thereby encouraging the Make in India initiative. We will focus on manufacturing solutions that integrate software with other disciplines.

In alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we will build and maintain resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and foster innovation among students, faculty, and nearby colleges. We will collaborate with local institutes to share knowledge and address challenges in electricity, sanitation, and agriculture, thereby contributing to societal development.

We will also support schools with Atal Tinkering Labs, helping them advance with the facilities available at the IDEA Lab. Operating 24/7, the lab will be accessible for immediate societal needs and will prioritize manufacturing products that address issues in primary education, sanitation, and agriculture.

Our commitment includes adhering to no-pollution practices and developing standard operating procedures to ensure these practices are integral to our operations. We will stay updated with national initiatives published by the central government, drafting action plans within a week to align with new directives. Additionally, we will focus on technological advancements.

  1. Collaboration with Industry to address the real time problems.
    1.The expertise gained through Internships will be experimented and prototyped at IDEA Lab.
    Extend the services of faculty to train the students and faculty of other institutions from the expertise attained.
    2.Lab is available 24*7 for manufacturing trials to verify and validate designs at nominal prices to attract full utilization of the laboratory through rapid prototyping.
    3.  Developing, fabricating and selling educational models from school level to medical colleges and technical institutions.
    4.Consistently improve the designs of existing products for economical production.
    Utilize the man power (students and staff) for the industrial needs of the industry partners involved at nominal charges.
    5. Promote informal education and marketing skills to farmers and people from remote areas.
    Consistently engage the laboratory for serving the needy by involving NGOs, and manufacture the social needs.
