Maharashtra Governor and Chancellor of State Universities C.P. Radhakrishnan conducted a review of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU), Lonere at Raj Bhavan Mumbai.

Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Karbhari Kale made a presentation before the Governor. Issues such as implementation of the NEP, development of university infrastructure, promotion of foreign language, collaboration with foreign universities, Category wise enrollment of students, hostel facilities, School Connect, Skill development, Development of sports facilities, participation in ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ and Viksit Bharat initiatives were discussed.

The award recognizes his contributions to spreading awareness and knowledge in the field of Geospatial Science and Technology. It was conferred as part of the National Geospatial Awards 2024 (Edition 01) under the initiative led by IIT Bombay and the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT), Ministry of Education, Government of India. The ceremony took place on September 15, 2024, at VMCC, IIT Bombay.
