Faculty Development Program on Software Architecture

29th September 2016 to 3rd October 2016

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Department of Computer Engineering successfully conducted a TEQIP-II sponsored Faculty Development Program on “Software Architecture” from 29th September 2016 to 3rd October 2016. Experts from different esteemed institutions and industries were invited as speakers for this course. Faculties from various engineering and polytechnic institutions participated in this short term training program.

About the Course

Designing large-scale software systems involves numerous challenges beyond more programming and designing efficient algorithms. As a part of specifying high-level design, software engineers need to provide architectural solutions which are mainly concerned with non-functional requirements and quality attributes of software systems. Providing such a solution from the perspectives of various stakeholders is the topic dealt in the emerging discipline called Software Architecture. This introductory course aims to provide the knowledge of following topics Computer
Science Engineering faculty members.
• Software Architecture Documentation
• Architecture Design.
• Architectural Styles.
• Architecture Evaluation.
• Architecture Knowledge Management.
• Technology Architectures (SOA, EJB)
• Domain Specific Architecture
